My pick for the best RPG for 2020 was an easy choice. Wasteland 3 was far and away the best CRPG of the year for me.

With a post-apocalyptic world fit for the crazy of 2020 the world pulled the best from Fallout and set itself apart from the crowd with great characters, awesome combat and a game with replayablility for years to come.

What is great about Wasteland 3 is it is available on Gamepass for PC as well as Steam and Consoles

What I like about Yakuza: Like a Dragon is that it is a great starting point for the series for new players. Starting new with a new story and characters.

What I love about Yakuza: Like a Dragon is, well…Everything.

It is the perfect game for me.

Humor, Heart and Great Gameplay.

The friendships and side activities really are the lifeblood of the game and create a sense of attachment to the characters and world you are in.

Of all the games I have played this year this is the one that has stayed in my mind the most.

I love it.

Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla has completed the journey of the AC series transition into a full on Roleplaying Game.

What began in Origins, continued to Odyssey and into Valhalla, Assassin’s Creed has reached the upper echelon of the Role Playing Games.

What Ubisoft has created is a masterwork of game designs that has come together in a cohesive package that will keep players busy for a long time to come.

Best Early Access RPG of 2020:

Solasta: Crown of the Magister

What this game brings to the table is an authentic Dungeons and Dragons experience.

It provides great character customization, dynamic environments and a real sense of scale and perspective.

This is one great game and we can not wait to see more of it in 2021.

Best Indie RPG of 2020:

9th Dawn III

We know there are bigger budget games with better graphics and sound but for our money this game hits all the right notes.

With a huge open world, dungeons packed with content and plenty of challenge this is an old school roleplaying game that is well worth your time.

Best of all it is available on nearly all platforms. From Mobile, Consoles and PC.

Just some of the features include:

Huge seamless open world

over 250 different monsters

over 1400 unique items to find

customize gear

Monster recruiting

Fishing

Mounts

Even a new rogue-like mode, hard mode and permadeath modes

The game offers so much for so little

Easily our top Indie RPG of 2020
